Up for sale is a beautiful little antique oil painting on board depicting a Christmastime snowy wooded landscape. The wooded path laden with snow is lined by trees draped in white which still hold some of their turned brown leaves. This work is dated 1921 and signed "AF" as seen in the low right corner and measures 8 x 6 inches while its original period gold wood frame measures 11.5 x 9.5 inches. While the painting bears some naive of folksy qualities, it is well executed showing good brushwork making it an overall very charming painting.

I call this "Christmastime" because there on the tree hangs a wood constructed bird house adorned with a cute green wreath. The painting which is in good condition does show craquelure and other minimal cosmetic imperfections.
