Vintage Primitive Folk Art Rustic Barn Wood Handmade Tin Roof Farm Birdhouse. Extremely unique piece of vintage folk art. This little bird house/ bird cabin is adorned with an ancient door knob, key hole escutcheons, a highly detailed door hinge and an old Illinois Power Company pad lock. The chain that it hangs from is a very unusual heavy gauge, perhaps at one time used in some industrial setting. This would be excellent decor in many settings or you could hang it up outside. This little birdhouse is reminiscent of a cabin in the woods. This was handmade with quality so many years ago.

The roof is a piece of real tin that was carefully shaped to match the peak of the house. The door knobs and all the metal embellishments have a beautiful patina on them.

This is not new made to look old, this is old looking old. The birdhouse measures 12.5 tall to the peak of roof. The chain extends about 7. The deck 9 deep, 6.25 wide. Please zoom in on the pictures as they are my best descriptors.
